Tomorrow I take off for a conference in Nashville, Tennessee. This is the Annual Conference for The International Council of Community Churches. Last years conference was in New Orleans and I had a wonderful time. What I appreciate about this conference is that it is not a denomination but a movement of churches in a post-denominational direction. This direction is centered around unity. At the conference we have wonderful worship, dialogue, prayer, banquets and practical sessions. Plus, the ministers meet and have quite a good time together. If you have an ecumenical community church in your area you really should check it out.
All that to say I don’t know how regularly I will be able to post over the next week. So, if I don’t get back to you, have a wonderful week.
