Lord God
Who can lift this pall
Off our casket?
Break the seal
On their shiny lids?
Who will unearth
Dormant potential,
Resurrecting fused bones?
From where
Will we find perfume
To disguise our decay?
Will you breath
Into our nostrils
Replacing chemicals
With flowing blood?
Where will we find life?

Another beautiful prayer. I wanted you to know that Stans service was beautiful. I can send you a program it you would like. We almost ran out of the host and David Johnson eulogized Stan with precision humor and wit. Blessings!

Thanks Ryan. I would love to see a program. Your eulogy on your blog reminded me of standing many hours in the doorway to Stan’s office.

I shall send it to the church address.
