Poem I Wrote this morning

The rancid Bluefish has no opinion
Of late Fall chill
It lies disturbed by seagulls and buzzards
A desperate eye
No defense against icy rising tides
Lapping its belly
Beckoning for its burial at sea.

Can see it, smell it, feel the wind, taste the salt in the air, hear the seagulls and buzzards in the distance and the waves against the shore. Wow.
